It's not just a number to us.

Do you think the universe fights for souls to be together? Some things are too strange, and too strong to be coincidences.

McCall here, I was skeptical at first... that day I found out.

I was browsing the glass cases in Alex and Ani, looking for a birthday gift for a friend when I came across the numerology bracelets. I was curious. The young lady behind the counter asked if I would like to find my soul number. After entering my name and birth date into the site she had up on an iPad, I got my number. Nine.

Even more curious now, I decided to find the numbers of two others, who I knew their full (birth) name and birth date and came up with other numbers like four and two. I was intrigued but running tight on time, nothing out of the ordinary for me, so I quickly paid for the gift I chose as the salesperson told me if I wanted to find anyone else's number, I could look it up at home, here

So later that night I entered one more name and birthday, Surae's. The calculation I got from doing so immediately brought tears to my eyes and gave me all the feels I couldn't even wrap my head around. Clear as day in black and white, the number nine.

Of course I thought a miscalculation had occurred but I went ahead and did the math by hand, filling in the blanks from several websites that credited the same numerology method to finding your soul number and lo and behold, we shared the SAME soul number.

Keep in mind this all occurred after we were calling each other soul sister.

I called Surae one night, a couple days later, to fill her in on my discovery and her reaction was almost identical to mine.

"The universe is always speaking to us. Sending us little messages, causing coincidences and serendipities, reminding us to stop, to look around, to believe in something else, something more."

Now of course your soul sister, better half or BFF doesn't have to share the same soul number as you to have any of those title's. But it kind of sealed the deal for us. From that point on, we knew WE meant so much more.
